PLEASE NOTE - YOU MAY NOT ENROLL WITH MORE THAN ONE PROGRAM AT A TIME,INCLUDING ONLINE PROGRAMS.
FOR INSTANCE, YOU MAY NOT ENROLL WITH LEAP AND CEC AT THE SAME TIME.

REGISTRATION is now open for the    2023-2024 school year. Please follow instructions below to enroll.

PLEASE NOTE: 

ALL families must register their students as NEW to the district EACH YEAR in order for us to enroll them in the LEAP program. Please send Miki Shockley the following information to be added to our spreadsheet for enrollment: 
1. Student's full legal name
2. Grade level for the fall 
3. Date of Birth
4. Choice of Attendance Day
Wednesday or Thursday

Here are the steps you will take to successfully register your child/children with our program:

  1. Have information added to the spreadsheet (Please see note above) Why is this important? When you register your child online, he/she will automatically be placed in the school closest to your home. When the district sees them on the spread sheet, THEY will place them in LEAP. This is not something you or LEAP can do. 

  2. Register with Thompson School District. ALL LEAP students need to register as NEW each year. Why is this important? Students may not attend LEAP without being registered with Thompson School District. 

  3. Complete the Intent to Homeschool form online. Why is this important? This form MUST be turned in to TSD to participate in LEAP.

  4. Complete the affidavit below re: Homeschooling. Why is this important? TSD must have this form for you to participate in LEAP. There is not an electronic version of this form at this time so it will need to be either printed out and sent to the following address or scanned and emailed to LEAP:

5. After receiving an email from Miki Shockley stating class request is open to new families, send class request forms to tsdleapschool@gmail.com. Why is this important? So we know what classes your child would like! Classes tend to fill quickly so you'll want to send in class request as soon as possible.

WE MUST HAVE CLASS REQUEST FORMS, EVEN FOR KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS. Why is this important? Since everyone placed on the spreadsheet may not follow through with attending LEAP, Class Request Forms are another way of verifying your student will be attending LEAP.  

 

After we receive word from the district that registrations have been processed and class request opens to new families, an email will be sent to let parents know they may choose classes at that time.
